Important Points
  1. Customers must be 18 or over to participate in the auction.
  2. Customers must have a permanent address in the UK.
  3. Payment for products won needs to be paid via the website.
  4. Products are usually dispatched within five working days of payment.
  5. Bid Credits can be purchased using PayPal, Credit or Debit cards. Bid Credits and products purchased via PayPal e-Cheques can take up to 10 working days to clear. 
  6. There are two types of Auction:

    (a) Penny Auction: Every auction has a countdown timer, usually between 1 and  3 minutes. When the timer reaches zero, the highest bidder wins. If someone bids, the timer restarts. Bid increases are made by 1 penny at a time.

    (b) Bid-4-Free Auction:

    This auction will have a minimum starting price. Every bid will increase the price by a set amount. Registered customers can bid on this auction FREE of charge. The winner has the right to buy the product for the auction closing price (plus delivery cost).

  7. Send a photo of yourself with the product you won with your comments and get 10 free credits. This is limited to one per month for each customer.
  8. Referral Credit
    Registered customers can get 10  Free bid credits for each new customer they introduce. 10 Free bid credits will be given when a referred customer buys a minimum of 10 bid credits.

  9. Daily Free Bid Credits

    You can get one FREE Bid Credit per day when you log into your account. This will be credited to your account when you log in.
  10. Credit Refund
    Customers who bid but are unsuccessful will be given a refund of 50% of the bid credits that they used for bidding.
General

Q: How do I participate in the auction?
A: You need to register and activate your account. You can use your Free Bid Credits for your first bidding.

Q: Are the products new?
A: All the products are new and come directly from leading manufacturers and distributors.

Q: Do the products come with warranty?
A: All the products come with standard manufacturer’s warranty.

Q: I do not live in the UK. Can I participate?
A: You need a permanent UK address to participate in the auction.

Q: Will I always get the same item that I have won?
A: We will do our best to supply you the item that you have won. If for any unforeseen reason that we cannot supply you the same item, we will offer you an equivalent item of the same or higher value.

Bidding

Q: What is the cost for placing a bid?
A: The cost of the bid depends on the number of bid credits you purchase. You can see the details on the Home Page.

Q: How do I buy bid credits?
A: You can buy bid credits by logging into your account. You can pay via Paypal, Credit or Debit Card.

Q: How long are the free bid credits valid for?
A: The free bid credits are valid for up to 30 days. You will be informed of the duration of the free bid credits when you receive free credits.

Q: Can I get a refund for unused bid credits?
A: Purchased bid credits are non-refundable, sorry!

Q: Will I get refund of the bid credits that I use for bidding, if I do not win?

A: Yes! You will get 50% Bid Credits Refund.


Q: Can I bid for the same product more than once?
A: Yes, you can!

Q: Can I bid for several products at the same time?
A: Yes, you can!

Q: What happens if only one bid is submitted and nobody else raises the bid?
A: The auction will close and the product will be sold for one pence.

Q: Can I undo submitted bids?
A: Submitted bids cannot be undone, sorry!

Q: What happens when I win?
A: You will receive a confirmation email. You can see the items that you have won in your account section. The product and delivery costs will be paid by the winner. Product cost will be the final price at which the bidding stopped.
 
Q: How does the Bid Assist work?

A: The Bid Assist bids for you when you do not have the time to follow a live auction.

You can choose your price ranges and the maximum number of bid credits that you want the Bid Assist to use. The Bid Assist will then bid automatically for you between your price ranges.

You can only book one Bid Assist per auction. As soon as the Bid Assist is no longer active, you can book the next Bid Assist.

Your maximum price has to be higher than the current end price.

Bid Assist can be deleted at any point via your account section.

Bid Credits will only be deducted if Bid Assist places bids. 

Bid Assists are not allowed in Bid-4-Free auctions.

Q: How does the Bid Assist know when to bid?

A: If there is just one Bid Assist booked to bid on the auction, the bid will be placed automatically at any point within the final few seconds.

If there are two or more Bid Assists bidding against each other, all the consecutive bids are placed immediately.


Payment

Q: How do I pay for bid credits?
A: You can buy bid credits online using Paypal, Credit or Debit Card.

Q: How secure are your payment methods?
A: We use high-security encoding (SSL) to protect your payment details when processing online payments.

Q: Will you store my credit or debit card details?
A: We will not store your card details.

Q: How do I pay for the product that I have won?
A: You can pay online using Paypal, Credit or Debit Card.

Delivery

Q: What is the cost of delivery?
A: Delivery cost for each item is shown along with the item.

Q: How long does it take for me to receive the products?
A: Products will be dispatched within five working days of payment. You will receive confirmation as soon as products are dispatched. Tracking of delivery is available on most products and you will receive details on tracking by email. All items will require a signature upon delivery.

Q: Do you deliver to all parts of the UK?
A: Our standard delivery is to the UK mainland. For other areas of the UK, we can deliver, but there may be an additional delivery charge depending on the area and the item.

Q: I have received a faulty product, what should I do?
A: Please Contact Us. We will resolve the issue to your satisfaction. Please do not send the item back to us before contacting us.

Q: Can I return the product I have won?
A: Please Contact Us and let us know the details of the product and reason for return. We will arrange for the return of the product. We will send you a Return Authorization Code.

Please DO NOT send an item back without a Return Authorization Code.

Please note that we can only offer a refund on the final price (the price you paid) of the item you won. We are unable to refund the cost of the bids placed (on the product) or the delivery costs.

My Account

Q: How do I change my password?
A: You will need to log into your account and select Change Password option. You will need the answer to your security question.

Q: Can I change my user name?
A: For security reason, User Name cannot be changed. Please choose an appropriate User Name when you register.

Q: What do I do if I forget my user name or password?
A: You can change your password by clicking on the forgotten password link on the sign-in page. You will need the answer to your security question.

Q: Where can I check my account details?
A: You can log into your account and see your account details.

Q: Can I change my email address?
A: You can change your email address via your account section. You will need the answer to your security question.

Q: Can I change my contact details?
A: You can change your contact details via your account section. You will need the answer to your security question.

Q: Can I change my security question?
A: You can only do this via your account section.

Q: How do I close my account?
A: You will need to contact us to close your account. You will receive an email with confirmation.

Security

Q: Do you request my password on the phone and/or by email?
A: We will never ask you for your password, so you should NOT disclose your password to anyone. We will never send you an email asking for your security information or log on details, or direct you to a web page that asks for this information.



Payment can only be made by visiting our website and logging into your account.

Please always type our website address into your web browser in order to avoid any "Phishing" or "Spoofing" request.

Q: What should I do if I receive a suspicious email?
A: You should never click on a link in such an email. The links in these emails may lead to websites that are designed to obtain your personal data.
